Buffalo, NY

by nuker - last update: Sep 11, 2002

Buffalo is a city I started going to when I went to college 1 hour south in Fredonia. On top of that, my wife is from the South Towns (Hamburg, Evans, Angola, Lakeshore, etc. . ). Buffalo, like most Western NY towns, have great places to eat and drink at. I have several favorite places that I always want to visit when I'm in the Buffalo area.

Other things Buffalo is known for are the Bills, Sabres, and snow. Bills games are always a very good time. I recommend seeing one if you are ever in town on a Sunday during the fall. If you go to a game late in the season, the lake effect snow will probably be falling.

All in all, Buffalo is a great place to spend a couple of days and go to the Pubs and bars and have some of the best food around. In addition to the great food, Niagara Falls and Toronto are just a hop, skip, and jump down the road.

I lived in Rochester 30 years(you like it alot more than I did LOL)Pretty sure you mean the lowest temp at a Bills game is MINUS 50....Winters in upstate NY arent fun. I agree with Seratonin...Bocce Club pizza is great.
