The Other City of Lights

by nuker - last update: Sep 11, 2002

Las Vegas was one of the funnest cities I have ever visited. The first thing we saw and heard when we got of the plane were slot machines. They are in EVERY location around the city, including banks and grocery stores. We just walked around and stared at the massive casinos once we arrived. It was almost impossible for me to imagine I was in the middle of the desert! Las Vegas sits at the bottom of a mountain chain near the Colorado River, where the Hoover Dam sits. Every casino is a tourist attraction by itself.
