"Don't worry about Boston, it's not really a college town" - Spinal Tap.

Boston is one of the best US cities I have ever visited. A lot of people call Boston the "biggest small town". I have the luxury of staying with my brother and his fiance when I visit Boston, so my expenses are dramatically cut. Another perk is I get his expertise and local info. Boston has one of the best nightlifes in the country. Many fun Irish Pubs to wander in and out of. In many parts of the city, you get the feel of an old European city with the architecture and small winding streets. One activity I have not done in Boston is the Freedom Trail. This is the best historic monuments in the city.

Boston is also the host to 400,000 college students, give or take. Some of the main colleges are Harvard, UMASS, Boston College, and MIT. These schools have beautiful campuses that are worth the visit.

The Boston Red Sox. Fenway is one of the coolest stadiums in the land!

One of the best aspects of Boston is it's residents love being there and take a lot of pride in the city and it's activities. People from all over the country come to Boston for college and to live. People who went away for college always seem to make their way back despite the cold and snow of the Northeast. The nightlife is legendary and the Boston accents are even better. Welcome to Havad Yad!

Boston is also home to some of the greatest neighborhoods and houses in the country. You don't have to wander very far to bumb into rows and rows of multi-million dollar homes. Each neighborhood has many characteristics that stand out. Boston has a distint Chinatown and Little Italy just outside of downtown.

As in most cities, you can stay a week, month or year and barely scratch the surface of this city. I have more and more fun each time I go and look forward to each visit with excitement. Welcome to Beantown!
