Key West is a great place to hang out in, eat, drink, and have a good time in. The siteseeing is great, but nothing beats the nightlife. Key West has a great mix of bars with live entertainment, food, and good drinks. Duval Street in Old Key West is so much fun to walk down and see all the people. The drive from mainland Florida is well worth it as well. I came from Tampa so I had to drive through the Everglades to get to route 1 in Miami. Once you actually start to hit the Keys, a great adventure begins. I think it took us about 2 hours to drive Route 1, maybe a little bit longer. On your way to Key West, you drive by or on all of the Keys. At some points, all around you is water, then the bridge. Once I arrived, I quickly declared it as one of my favorite vacation spots! |
