I have visited Middelburg a few times because it's a lovely town not far from my hometown but it makes you feel like you are on a holiday. During the summertime it's full with German tourists. Middelburg is only 6 km from the beautiful beach Dishoek and 7 km from the town Vlissingen.
In june 2004 (and a again in september) we went to Middelburg by bicycle with our tent and stayed there for a few days. We found a nice town-campsite, which was great because when the weather was good we went to the beach by bicycle and on a rainy day we enjoyed ourselves in the town...
At the end of august 2004 Eden_Teuling had organised a big VT-meeting. It was a GREAT day. Thanks Elisabeth and her husband Pip!! You will find the meeting pictures in a travelogue. |
