Two summers ago (and the one previous to that) I went to visit my friend who had recently moved to England. Never having been there, I was expecting, and hoping, for the typical, glum, cloudy English weather. Both summers, I spent 2 weeks there, and it was bright and sunny every single day! First trip, did the typical touristy bit, second visit was more of a cultural experience. (I also rented a car the second time, which made a HUGE difference). Read on for the details. |
