Salzburg is beautiful in the winter, and probably more so in the summer. The mountains, the history, that incessant church bell that rang beside our hotel! The Festung Hohensalzburg is a must see as is the Mozart Museum. (Don't bother with the one in Vienna, it's a waste of time). And don't forget Schloss Mirabel, and the Sound of Music stuff (which I did not see, 'cause it was Christmas time). A beautiful city in a beautiful country that I hope to see again some day!
