Albuquerque

by smoox - last update: Feb 2, 2006

Albuquerque is a very Spanish town. I fist saw in in 1980 and was quite impressed by its university - built of adobe! Fifteen years later, I was again impressed by its beautiful international airport.
The "old town" is worth a stroll, IŽll show you some shops that caught my attention. Also, there is the Indian Cultural Center, a museum type collection of southwestern Indian traditions and culture. Bien Muir Indian Market offers some high-quality collectors items as well as typical souvenirs.

That was a very catching photo of the light and shadows!

Wie gehts! I am new to VT and live in Albuquerque. I enjoyed seeing a Deutsch perspective of Albuquerque. I agree with mamamba about the light-and-shadow picture.

More of a tourist trap than a quaint attraction
