I had always wanted to go to Australia - a continent of dreams, of dream-time, of mysteries. Eventually Fate willed me to go... partly on business, partly following my own desires and pleasures. Having been to so many places before, Australia turned out to be an all new experience for me, and the memories are both very sweet and very bitter. The overall memory, however, is of a vast continent weathered by age.

Lovely pics. I had a similar experience with trying to see some of the wildlife. First 2 roos I saw were roadkill, but then saw lots alive. Now kookaburras don't laugh for Canadians I think! I only heard one.
