    Getting TO/AROUND: You can reach us by plane (they have done a lot to improve the airport - it´s an international one at that!), by train (IC) or, of course, by car since Nuremberg is situated quite conveniently in the middle of a criss-cross of motorways.
    There´s a modern subway system (picture: the station below Lorenzkirche), but there are also the old-fashioned trams and, of course, an efficient bus system.

     Happy birthday from the southeastern USA. I will be in Germany again next month but do not think that I have ever been to Nurnberg. It seems as if I should add it to my itinerary on one of my trips real soon.
