It is easy to fall in love with this country. The people are wonderfully friendly, the sights are overwhelming, the climate is fantastic.
We went on a sightseeing tour, starting in Bangkok, going north to Bang Pa In and Ayuthaya, took trains and boats to get to the River Kwai and eventually went south again to see the floating markets. Later we relaxed in Phuket, lovely Phuket - which, sad to admit, had been changing to the worse by then, compared to two years before when we first visited. |
