The island of Mytilene - as it is called by the inhabitants - lies in the northern Aegaean Sea, only a few kilometres off the Turkish coast. It is the third largest Greek island . To most, it is better known under its "international" name, Lesvos. The small town of Molyvos is situated on the northern coast of Mytilene. Molyvos is full of charme and tradition - both due to the fact that it is on the UN´s list of World Heritage Sites and therefore still has the original - well, semi-original since a lot has been renovated - streets and architecture.
