Favorite thing: Dover Castle is quite large and from on top of the ramparts you can gaze across the English Channel (weather permitting) and see France.
Fondest memory: We went to Dover with my sister and two sailor friends that only had a short port call. They really wanted to go to the races at first, but thanked me for diverting them to such a cultural icon. They have circumnavigated the globe and really enjoyed their visit to Dover.
