These are the best ruins I have seen (so far). They are not as fully restored, famous or beautiful as many others. But the setting, deep in the Chiapas jungle, made it a really great experience. Many places you could also wander around all by yourself, the only sound you could hear was the grasshoppers, birds and howlermonkeys. It was really a fantastic place! And I hope I can visit it again someday...

I am concerned that you have not changed your picture in a while. I thought that you change your picture about once a week! It should also be of an animal, not the sun!

Maria this is a great page on Mexico, I hadn't heard of Palenque specifically but great job, it warmed me up with it being -20 celcuius here today!

Mexican pyramids... I always wanted to see that :) I have been told that they are much more beautiful than the Egyptian ones.
