The capitol of Gran Canaria Las Palmas is the biggest city on the island of Gran Canaria. You can go swimming on the beautiful beach, shop in many of the shoppingcentres or in Triana, visit one of the many museums, relax in Parque Santa Catalina, surf on Las Canteras, enjoy the old buildings in Vegueta, or just wander along the beach. There are so many things to do in this city, and I will try to show you some of them. February/March is the Carnaval time here, so if you are going to visit the islands at that time you have to check out the Carnaval too! See photos from Las Palmas here . |
