This is one of my favorite places on Gran Canaria, and by the end of January it will be my new hometown for a while! So I guess there will be lots of tips and pictures added shortly... :)

If you want touristattractions there's really not so much to see here, and if you only have a few days to see the island there are many more interesting places to visit. It's neither a touristresort, typical canarian village nor a big city, but if you want to visit a 'normal' canarian city this could be a good stop.

A great area your new home! You can be sure that I come to knock on your door when I am on GC - but not without prior announcement and not under the Siesta - and dont forget to do the same when you are here!

How wonderful to live in a place where eucalyptus trees grow, I love how they smell! From Norway to Spain, that's a BIG change in climate : )

The town of my name patron really looks lovely. Got to visit it one day :).
