    • Visit Shi Bao Zhai Temple
    A 12-story wooden temple built 300+ years ago, along a cliff perching the Yangtze River. It is of 56 meters high.

    Directions: Midway of Chong Qing city and Qu Tang gorge, in Zhong Xian County, Sichuan Province (not sure if it is included in Chong Qing metropolitan area now).

    • Climb to the top of Shi Bao Zhai Temple to have a view of Yangtze River and Shi Bao Zhai Town and other villages around, like a piece of traditional Chinese scenery painting, through the temple's round windows.

    • Do not miss the Kui Men (Men=pass, entrace, door, gate) at the west end of Qu Tang gorge, with its about 1,200 meter high cliff. That is the most dramatic scene along the whole cruise. See the title photo.
