Lynchburg is located at the middle of Virginia.

We were there for a few days, toured downtown. Among its 'Off-the-beaten-paths':
-Hike in the Blue Ridge mountain areas nearby (stayed at the Peaks of Otter Lodge - see Bedford, VA page for info).

-Visit the <a href='http://www.virtualtourist.com/m/.101103/article/28520/157/?s=h&DM=1' target=newwindow> <font color=blue size=+1> Wade's Mill</font> </a> and an Herb Garden
