Manteo Travel Guide: 36 reviews and 67 photos
Manteo is a quiet water front town, nice base for exploring the North Carolina Outerbanks, as we did.
One of the major tourist places nearby is the Elizabethen Garden. For those of you who are spoiled by seeing many grand gardens in Europe, the Elizabethen Garden is not that impressive, however, it has its own charm. This is also a popular wedding places, the ceremonies usually are held at the terrace (see photos under 'Must See' sections).
