Schloss Linderhof
Do not forget to look at the photos in the travelogue.

I will add text when have time, but here is some from my replies to forum questions (be revised later).

If you have seen many INSIDE of other Chateau (e.g., Versailles) or Schloss etc, and not too crazy about the interior of a palace, you do not need to take a tour to the Schloss, but the park is spectacular, well worth of seeing.

Do not forget about the fountain display either (see photo).

The Grotto further deep in the park, with a shell shape small boat where the Lugwig II daydreamt, was interesting. Make sure that you get the adimission ticket to the Grotto at the general entrance (not at the grotto - I did not pay attention when entering the park, but had to walk all the way back to get the tickets).

You took a lot of great pictures here - I just visited and the castle itself is covered up at the moment :(

Schloss Linderhof looks nice too. I try to combine it with Neuschwanstein
