After the Choir Olympics 2000, the greatest ever choir competition world-wide, has been met with broad recognition and storms of enthusiasm in the international choral world we would now like to kindly invite the choirs of the world to celebrate the 2nd Choir Olympics in the seaport city of Busan, South Korea.
Korea is known as 'The Land of the Morning Calm'. The thriving city of Busan with a population of 4 million and located on the south coast of Korea is a much favoured destination for visitors from all over the world. It represents the traditional and the modern Korea at the same time. Busan is one of the biggest sea ports of Asia and will be particularly attractive in the year 2002 as it will host great sports events (Soccer World Championship and Asia Games) as well as cultural highlights such as the International Film Festival and the Choir Olympics. Moreover, there are the marvellous beaches and innumerable attractive excursion sites to visit.
