Getting TO/AROUND: I flew in LAX via United Airlines, only airline I have used, and had no trouble with the Airline or the Airport Staff in general. With the States, they drive on the wrong side of the road to me, from New Zealand, so I would prefer to let someone else do the driving. Their road signs are also different in so many ways.

Husband and I stayed @ Torrance Plaze Hotel. it was awful. Bed had springs coming through the mattress.. No room service is available. No cable (only had acess to about 6 tv stations) . I would have been better off at the "BATES Motel"... | funkymama Sat Apr 27, 2002 21:58 UTC
