Munich

Munich, perhaps the northest city of Italy !
It´s the city of the Oktoberfest, Hofbräuhaus but also of the Frauenkirche (Our Lady´s Church) and Theatinerkirche, Deutsches Museum (German museum), Eglischer Garten (english garden) and a lot of other beautiful places.

The first advice from munich is from 1158, 1806 becomes the capital of the kingdom of Bavaria.
Today, munich has a population of about 1.5 millions people, a very mixed up variety of cultures and nationalities.
Sometimes you´ll still found someone speaking bavarian, and for me it´s a great dialect, for the others not understandable....;>
I´ll try to tell a little bit about this city, and hope you´ll love it like i do !

Interesting, though a little short on info on your city with over 50 museums and galleries.

Happy birthday, from Lanzarote, you seem very well travelled. I have only been to Munich once on a weekend to visit a friend who took me out on the town, I loved the atmosphere.
