Thank to the catholic church ! With one more day of hollydays I got 4 days to spend in this city. I was some years ago allready there, but it was 7 o´clock in the morning. OK OK it was really great sitting at St. Marco´s place and being the only one, but I was soooo tiered that I don´t remember anything. And now, the second chance. I arrived at 9 o´clock in the morning and thought: I´m so smart and I have so many adresses of hostels, it will be no problem to find a place for about 20 $. But it wasn´t like I thought: Venezia was full ! My decession: staying one day there and taking the train in the evening for Florence in the hope it will be better. But I also enjoied this day, and for next time: hotel reservation is a must. |
