Two years ago my best friend Micky, Aussie75, chose to move to Melbourne to follow her dreams.
This summer I had the opportunity to go to Melbourne to pay her a visit and see how her life was going on!
My opinion???Well...I'm envying her a lot!!! I totally fell in love with the place and people!!!

If your intention is to stroll around the city to know it deeper and deeper as I did, a good thing to know in order to wander around cleverly is that Melbourne is divided into 15 distinct ‘Precincts’, that are a sort of small pockets of the city with their own unique character.Each precinct has a recognisable identity. Some are small, just a lane or two, while others will transport you to another world in just a few streets.
Precincts are:
- Bourke Hill
- Carlton
- Chinatown
- Collins Street
- Flinders Quarter
- Hardware
- Greek Precinct
- Little Collins Street
- LLB from QueenStreet
- Magnificent Seven City Arcades
- The Market
- St Kilda Road
- Swanston Street
- West End
- Yarra River
