PIGEON FORGE AND THE SMOKY MOUNTAIN AREA ARE PROBABLY ONE OUR FAVORITE VACATION SPOTS. THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE AND WE ALWAYS SEEMED TO RUN OUT OF TIME AND MONEY BEFORE WE WERE READY TO LEAVE.I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT IN THE FALL WHEN THE FOLIAGE IS COLORFUL,BUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN BEAUTIFUL IN THE SUMMER ALSO. |

TravellerMel Mon Jul 27, 2009 22:59 UTC OMGoodness - your "Beware the Bears" tip had me rolling! Too funny!! | Rusty_Pyles Fri Nov 7, 2008 18:25 UTC This is absolutely correct. If you manage your gears and use selective braking you will have the brakes when you need them. Smell a metalic burn in Gatlinburg? That's someone who cooked their brakes coming down from Clingman's Dome. | DragginMan Wed Jul 5, 2006 18:49 UTC Neither I nor the wife liked this place! Very low-rate and the food was not very good. Yes, it was cheap, and the quality reflected the price. | goingsolo Thu Aug 11, 2005 18:46 UTC Very interesting page! My time in Pigeon Forge was too brief and mostly spent in traffic. :) Great to read about some of the attractions here. And thanks for visiting my Sequoia p |
