PIGEON FORGE AND THE SMOKY MOUNTAIN AREA ARE PROBABLY ONE OUR FAVORITE VACATION SPOTS. THERE IS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE AND WE ALWAYS SEEMED TO RUN OUT OF TIME AND MONEY BEFORE WE WERE READY TO LEAVE.I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT IN THE FALL WHEN THE FOLIAGE IS COLORFUL,BUT IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN BEAUTIFUL IN THE SUMMER ALSO. |

We loved Pigeon Forge! We got married there. One thing we found that we needed to pack were jackets for the mountains. It was warm in the 70's in town, but up in the mountains it was freezing! | deecat Fri Oct 1, 2004 17:19 UTC
John...great restaurant and hotel tips. Honest, helpful tips...great warning about shifting down to save brakes (we do that, too). Smokies are one of my favorite memories. Thanks for rekindling that spark. |
