Driving through Death Valley is a very extraordinary experience. Man, does it get hot in July overhere! We had to suffer 49ºC.
And some of the visitors or inhabitants of Furnace Creek were still playing Basketball. Are they out of their mind?
First thing on arrival is taking a cold shower I said to my wife. Guess what!!! The water isn't getting cold.
I woke up the next day at 06.00 hrs, thinking of a nice cooling off period on the balcony. I opened the balcony door and wham 36ºC outdoors.
But what beauty lies hidden in this desert area. I never knew a desert could be so beautiful. Death Valley is a nice place to be for naturelovers who appreciate the small things in life.
I put up several must see activities and a nice travelogue if I may say so.
Enjoy my Death Valley Page and Travelogue, and if you're up to it let me know what you think of them!
Greetings Roeffie

what an interesting landscape and excellent pics, Patrick ! I did not know that Zabriskie’s Point is also the name of a real place !
Yes, I agree, great pics of sand dunes and the salt flats. I've been thinking of going through there next month.
