"Home of the "Natuurmonumenten"" 's-Graveland by Roeffie

This is just a very little town, but it is wellknown of the fact is the residence of the very important organisation: "Vereniging Natuurmonumenten".

This organisation protects beautiful and characteristic pieces of nature in Holland.

The building on the picture is their headoffice. You can walk through the gardens around this stately home and some other in the same street. They are all on the list as a protected nature area. In other english speaking countries, these protected areas are called: areas with outstanding natural beauty.
