| Royal Palace at Paleizenplein. |
On the last weekend before Christmas we (my wife and I) spend a weekend in the luxurious Renaissance Hotel in the upper town of Brussels.
It was a busy, but nevertheless wonderful weekend. We saw and enjoyed a lot of this magnificent town.
At daytime, at evening and nighttime it didn't matter to us, what time it was! In Brussels you forget there is something like time! |
| | We visited some museums, some old buildings, ate at a small restaurant in the Rue de Petite Bouchers, which is in my opinion by far the cosiest street in Brussels.
Ofcourse we ate Chocolates, had some beer and not to forget the famous waffles! |
| Grote Markt or Grande Place |
| | The towncentre was filled with little booths, where they sold all kinds of christmas stuff. On Grote Markt they made a kind of futuristic Bethlehem Stable scene, which was very nice.
