Golling an der Salzach Travel Guide: 17 reviews and 61 photos

Golling is a little town between deep gorges and waterfalls. It lies on the river Salzach as the name already says. Golling also has a castle in which the "Heimatmuseum" is situated.

The main features of the town are:

Castle/Heimatmuseum
Gollinger Wasserfall 3 km west of Golling in St. Niklaus/Torren
Salzachöfen, a gorge about 2 km south of Golling at Paß Luegg and the
Lammeröfen which is 8 km tot the east on road 162 near Scheffau.

All these places are worth a visit especially the gorges.
