The Geiranger Fjord is probably the most beautiful and visited fjord of Norway. The town itselve is nothing special, but it's direct surroundings are breathtaking.

On the picture you are supposed to see the fjord. from the more then 1400 meter high mountain Dalsnibba.

The whole road coming from Grotli we had nice weather but the clouds took the view away.

A few days later I saw what the view was and I must say, that I liked this view better. It is somehow more special this way.

Great photos of Geiranger! BTW, technically speaking, it is only the hairpin bends going down to the Geiranger Fjord when coming from the north that are known as Orneveien (Eagles' Road).

Geiranger is one of the most beautiful places in Norway ! Its always great to see pics of it !
