What can I tell you about my home? I've been lots of other places, and I'm generally a little taken aback by how small everyplace else seems to be.
Maybe it's just me, as I get older, I find that I'm not too keen to leave behind my home and hearth, my little dogs and my great big sky to go and visit the world. (Perhaps that's why I'm so happy with the Virtual World?) I wonder sometimes how the people of London and Boston and all the other places in the world that I've come home from live under such a small and unobtrusive sun. Surely it can't be the same as mine. There's a song someone wrote about Texas named Lonesome Heaven, it says "everything here is drinking of the sun, everything is filling up with light". This is my home.
I want to throw open the doors to my home and ask the whole world to come visit! To share my joy of this place. Texas in spring is a joy that too few people on this earth will know.
I think I must be home from the majority of my travels these days. But, please, if you have any questions about Dallas, or Texas in general. I'm happy to help. :) |

ssgbutlerec Thu Oct 29, 2009 10:49 UTC .No one is going to do anything to you in wither of those areas. My advice is to watch out while downtown in the evenings though. As usual if you are in a pretty decent size group you are pretty safe. There is no race war in Dallas. | doreenellen Wed Jun 15, 2005 15:56 UTC Cute picture - Happy Birthday from England.
