Tilburg is a faceless and unwelcoming industrial town, its streets a maze of nineteenth century houses and anonymous modern shopping precincts. If you are passing through there are four decent museums within easy walking distance of the train station although, if that? s as far as you get into town, you haven? t missed much. Tilburg developed as a textile town, though today most of its mills have closed in the face of cheap competition. That's why I add only some nice spots in the direct area of Tilburg that are worth seeing. Fairy tale park the Efteling is at my opinion the most beautiful park in the world, it did get a price of the most beautiful park in Europe :) |
