Since the beginning of the nineteenth century Rūdesheim has been an attraction for English and German poets alike, and is today, considering the modest number of residents one of the most visited town in the country
Historical landmarks, such as the Klunkhardshof, the fortified Adler Tower, the thousand year old Brömser castle and the ruins of the Ehrenfels castle invite you to linger.
Those seeking peace and tranquility will find it in the extensive forests of the nature park Rhein-Taurus, in the natural beauty of the vineyards, or in the hidden alleyways of the town.
From the vantage points of the Niederwald, the visitor can also enjoy breathtaking views of the Rhine valley with the Nahe river estuary and the beautiful uniformity of the sleep vineyards which are also worth hiking through, which we did after going up by cable car.

The Drösselgasse is the most important street of Rūdesheim. It has a lot of souvenir shops and restaurants, Some of the restaurants have live music, this German music brings back old memories, my dad love this kind of music so I grew up with this kind of music. It was fun being in a restaurant listening to the music.

The bell tower

At Drösselgasse you see a bell tower, every 15 minutes a nice tune is played on the bells.
