    • You have to be a bit careful with the food in Turkey.
    A waiter told us that it is against their religion to throw away food.
    I am afraid they heat the food several times and use the salates more times.
    I am sorry to say that a lot of people where sick for one or two days.

    • The Turks expect from you that you beat down on products you want to buy.
    Be sure to do that otherwise you definitly pay to much for the product.

     Your travel pages are incredible, a wealth of information. During a visit to Konya I dined at a cafe situated in front of a hamam, next to a canal that reminded me of Holland.      nice info but you're wrong about food. I never got sick in turkey no matter where we ate. I know ppl that got sick in rich hotels though because of old jamon :)

     i see the children are getting big since last i looked . is salates a british or turkist word i could not find it in my dictionary.
