After we spend our holiday in the Ardeche (France) we made a stop in Nancy, I was surprised of the beauty of this city.
History is omnipresent in Nancy. It is a town with multiple facets, medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau.
The picture above is the entrance to the park on Place Stanislas. The place has on every corner gates like this.

I'm just now reading a novel with some scenes set in Nancy. It looks like a nice place to spend a few days.
