OKTOBERFEST !! Oktoberfest Review

This is obvious, but I thought not to forget to mention .. go to Munich during Oktoberfest, which is in September actually (!) and you will have an unforgettable experience in beer 'tasting', singing with Germans, Italians and other beer lovers and fun people :) I don't have any picture as I went to the tents with no objects that could loose in the crowd ;) After first 2 liters of beer try the rollercoasters. After two more liters just say enough, eat a cracker and take it easy :)

Rathaus Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall) Review

Probably the most known place in Munich, where all city routes starts and ends. This is the Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall), with it's clock which chimes and moves the statues every day at 11am and 5pm. Architect Georg Hauberrisser built the Town Hall between 1867 and 1909. The building reaches a height of about 100 meters.

Frauenkirche Frauenkirche Review

Frauenkirche (the church of the Lady) is the biggest church in Munchen, 100 meters long and 400 meters wide, built in 1488.

Altes Rathaus Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) Review

Alte Rathaus is the former Town Hall, built between 1470-1475. The tower was reconstructed in 1975 and now hosts the Toy Museum, who's German name is Spielzeugmuseum and it features toys from different period of times.

Theatiner Kirche Theatinerkirche Review

Theatiner Kirche was built by the Duke of Bavaria as his wife has born his son and follower to the throne.

Sometimes it's very difficult to find detalis for small features, like this gate linking two towers that seems to make up a former defense wall. Anybody could clear this for me please?
