Ok, so, you've finally found my Brasov page :) Brasov is one of the cities the traveler really must visit while in Romania. It's location - between the mountains, it's history - with its city walls, Black Church and lovely houses and streets, together with the people and atmosphere makes Brasov so interesting.

During recent years the central part of the city was renovated and now the main street - Republicii St. - is really a beauty, especially during evenings in the weekend, when all people come out.

Reserve at least three days for Brasov and Poiana Brasov, much more if you come during winter as Poiana Brasov is the largest ski resort in Romania. In Brasov you have a lor to visit, starting with the museum of the old town, where you will see a big model of the former fortress and you will see how in the place where now there is Republicii St. there was a small river.

I wish I had been in Brasov! Unfortunately, our schedule was so tight that we had to postpone our visit to Brasov until next time-hope that soon!
