I have been in Budapest three times, once during a bus trip and we went mostly to Buda (the west part from the Danube, with the Fishermen Bastion), the second time for a very short time on our way to Austria and the third time on January 3rd coming from Zell am See, Austria. This third time we did a larger tour of the city on foot.
In Budapest I'm most impressed by the buildings, all around you see big intricate architecture buildings with a lot of statues, arches and details. You can see some examples in my buildings travelogues below. |
