About Innsbruck

Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof)
Innsbruck is one of the most well known and visited city of Austria, mainly because it is the place for winter sports fans. Innsbruck hosted the Winter Olympics two times. Innsbruck is the only major city in the European Alps and it has 25 nearby Village Resorts.

The skijump trambuline, called Bergisel is famous, and also the football stadium.

But at least as much famous as the winter sport resort, there are also other attractions for visitors in Innsbruck, like: The Golden Roof (see picture), Ambras Castle, Nordpark-Seegrube-Hafelekar, The Alpine Zoo, and choice of Museums.

First advice before going forward and browsing my pages about Innsbruck - Do get the Innsbruck Card for the best deal on visiting the Tirolean Capital.
