Diagonal Mar: Best shopping place in Barcelona Department Stores / Malls Review

I found the best department store of Barcelona to be Diagonal Mar, located off-center, in the east end of the Av. Diagonal. It has all a real shopper wants :) And that included a good meal after the walk and shop :)

What to buy: Clothes, shoes, electronic and household items (I spent over two hours looking at some photo equipment), music .. all in one big department store.

What to pay: I found here shops that sell own names, like C&A, with very nice prices. You can't shop from another place :) Diagonal Mar it's simply the best shopping place in Barcelona.

Directions: You can reach Diagonal Mar with the Metro, Tram, Bus or of course Taxi. There are three metro stations near, all on line 4: Selva del Mar, Maresme/Forum (closest) and Besos Mar. Buses no. 7 and 41 stop right near one of the entrances.

Mare Magnum: Good shopping in Port Vell Department Stores / Malls Review

Mare Magnum is a department store on the seaside. To reach it you go on the nice bridge that is called Rambla del Mar. Useful note though: that bridge retracts during the midday to allow the private boats from the harbor to go out. Then Rambla del Mar is closed to traffic and you have to make a detour to reach Mare Magnum.

El Corte Ingles: Expensive stuff El Corte Ingles Review

El Corte Ingles is Spain's largest department store chain, founded all the way back in 1934. Now the big company that exist in all important cities of Spain takes its name from a little shop that made in 1890 tailored clothes for children.

I found the ones (there was three) in Barcelona to have a lot of things but I found the clothes to be a little expensive that I thought. I mean there were designer clothes and accessories for the ones that wants to shop for the brand name.
