In June 2007 I took my first trip to Barcelona. This was also my first trip to Spain :) I've heard nice things about this Spanish city but I did not do a big research so I wanted to be surprised. And I was very happy with Barcelona. I like the city and I want to return to enjoy more the relaxed atmosphere of the people here.
What I liked in Barcelona? A lot of things. First of all Barcelona is a city where you can do whatever you like, you can enjoy a coffee, a beer, an ice cream (though a very expensive ice cream), you can shop, you can walk, you can go to the beach, you can explore the Gaudi works of art, you can take the Bus Turistic to get you around, you can read about Sagrada Familia, you can stay days on the Rambla and watch the people and the street performers, you can do much more in the second and third time you return here :)
Barcelona is indeed a top10 destination because it makes you feel good and that is very important. |
