Maramures is a county in Romania located in the north part. It is one special and beautiful county in Romania because you can see here a lot of traditional things, together with an idilic hilly landscape. In Maramures there are the UNESCO wooden churches, Sapanta "happy cemetery" (cimitirul vesel), and oasis of peace - small villages hidden away from principal roads.
