I think it is always hard to build a country page on VT. And it is as much hard and even more to build the page of your home country, that's because you'd want to try to make it the best (at least better than any foreigner's page about your country), to guide the ways of the fellow travelers inside the place you should know best.

Romanian grilled meat

FRIGARUI DE PUI (Chicken grilled meat)

Romanians are gourmands and we pride on the traditional foods. Most of them involves cooked meat (grilled/fried). Barbecues are an usual weekend form of spending time with family and friends, outside cities Romanians flocks to start barbecues (Romanian word for barbecue: GRATAR-sing./GRATARE-pl.) and the meat on spikes is called FRIGARUIE (don't know the English word for this)

Peles Castle in Sinaia

Peles is one of the nicest castle in Europe. It's a must see while in Romania. Spend some time also in the surroundings of the castle where you can have a coffee on a terrace overlooking the castle.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Warm people, still natural, nice places
Cons:Not so developed because of the comunist era

LOL! Mount Moldoveanu is most definitely on my list of mountains I want to hike up! Great page, I will come back to this whenever we make the trip to Romania happen

Wow!! What a yummy page!! I've had Sarmale and a few other dishes cooked by Romanian friends, delicious!! Interesting that Slovaks and Arabs have their own version of Sarmale which tastes very similar.
