The Hilton Hotel is one of the more up-market hotels in Auckland. It is in an interesting location too situated near the Viaduct Harbour on the wharf. The hotel is distinctive as it is shaped like a luxury liner. The hotel has a small pool with views of the harbour and a top class restaurant called White. The hotel is also very good for hosting conferences or weddings and other functions.

The Duxton Hotel is an apartment style hotel in Central Auckland. It is located in a treelined street within walking distance of Queen Street. We had a nice double room with a huge bed, table and chairs, bathroom and kitchen facilities (which were really great if you felt like cooking your own breakfast!!). The pool and spa pool are located in front of the restaurant on the ground floor.
Unique Qualities: The view is ok. The pool and spa are nice to relax in.
