Kayaking Abel Tasman - Abel Tasman National Park

December 2004 between Christmas and New Years Eve I signed up for a sea kayaking guided trip in the infamous Abel Tasman National Park. As a kiwi it had always been a part of my country I had heard a lot about but never seen so I was very excited to be finally embarking on this much anticipated trip!

Pros and Cons

Pros:A chance to get up close with seals and penguins
Cons:There are quite a few tourists in the region doing the same thing

Happy One Year Anniversary of your kayak trip. Here on Kauai people kayak the Na Pali Coast, in calm summer conditions only. Looks beautiful there-good work!
