Hi and welcome in to Drammen!!!!!

Drammen is a town 42 km west of Oslo(the capitol).You take the E18 straight there.It has got a river (Drammenselva) that splits the town in two.Bragernes on one side and Stroemsoe on the other.
In the old days,it was two separat towns in 2 different counties,Buskerud on one side and Vestfold on the Stroemsoeside.They moved the border of the count Vestfold,in 1963.
It is still qiute a bit of industri here.
Drammen has the oldest brewery in Norway.It is located in the middle of town on the Bragernes side,the name is P.Ltz.Aass as, and is a familyowned consern with about 150 emploied.It is located down by the river,and it is very easy to see either from the motorway or if you are on the train.It is a lovely building ,specially at night, with all the lights.
(It is a shame that I cannot show you a picture here,but i have no scanner!!!!
