My country is unique even because it is extremely large. Plenty of time zones, nature zones and types of climate, plenty of nationalities, habits, customs, traditions, life styles, etc. Here you may find deserts and regions of permafrosts, seas and oceans, endless steppe, taiga and subtropics, mountains and forests. It is unfair to associate Russia only with the Russians, but I would like to acquaint you with some things that are common just for the Russians - they form the majority of the population. But I can assure you that there are regions and nooks in my country where you can hardly fancy that you are in Russia - absolutely different colouring. Welcome!

JessieLang Sat Sep 12, 2009 19:57 UTC I enjoyed looking at your pages and tips. I've been to the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow-- my favorite was Moonlit Night on the Dnieper by Kuinji. Are you familiar with it? | mizzzthanggg Thu Feb 12, 2009 09:44 UTC Privet, Natalia! Balshoy Spasiba :))) | Upstate1NY Sun Aug 22, 2004 02:40 UTC In the US, in "upstate" New York (NOT New York City!) when something was thought to be "just rigth" in many ways, it was said "isn't that the cats meow", meaning it was just "purrrrrrrfect" Nice, I dearly love cats . | stephenjl Mon Jun 7, 2004 17:18 UTC Very nice page and vivid photographs! Greetings from Cheshire/England! |
