Casablanca... "The white city". The economic capital of Morocco with plenty of architectural monuments, religious constructions, parks... There were periods in history when Calablanca was levelled to the ground... Up to XIII century it was called "Anva", the name came from the Berbers. We were told that nobody knew who were Berbers and where they had come from... There is a version that they were people from drowned Atlantida... Interesting, is not it? ;)) I only wish I had spent more time in Casablanca. We had only one day, since we arrived here with a cruise-liner. I watched things that impressed me greatly - so let us look through my experiences. |
