We were fortunate to have FREE lodging at a wonderful house (villa) outside of Cabo on the 17th hole of the Cabo del Sol golf course. However there are many hotels to choose from and if you want to rent a villa go on line to cabovillarentals@aol.com

We didn't stay at the hotel but we took the grand tour of lush tropical 2,500 acres over looking the Sea of Cortz and Chileno Bay. The word for this hotel is luxurious. They have 74 units and 3 to 7 bedroom villas.
Hotel Cabo San Lucas rates as one of the 50 best tropical hotels in the wordl.
Unique Qualities: The hotel and villas are spread out over the 2,500 acres and are separated by lush tropical plants and flowers. The pools are nestled in the trees and step down the hills dramatically. This is probably the oldest luxurious hotel in the Cabo area, but has more charm than any of the newer hotels.
There is outdoor dining hanging over the cliff that gives you magnificent views. You can also eat on any of the many verandas that are on the terraced hills to the water.
